This sunscreen isn’t only loved for its utmost efficacy in protecting the skin from the damaging UV rays of the sun, but also loved for its super lightweight texture, which is almost unfelt when applied on the skin but yet feels hydrating on the skin. All thanks to Its watery essence texture.
Aside from its UV-rays-absorbing attributes, this product also contains hyaluronic acid that pulls moisture from the atmosphere to hydrate skin surface.

At first, when I used this sunscreen, it was in a gel format, and was super lightweight, spreads on the skin easily and absorbs in a dewy, matt-finish.
The product was later reformulated, which involved the removal and adding of some ingredients, which impacted the product’s texture from the usual lightweight gel texture it was, to somewhat thicker texture, which made it more hydrating, thus recommended for people with dry skin to enjoy the sun-protection effect of this product and simultaneously enjoy the hydration it supplies to the skin. It’s understandable that there are some sunscreens which aren’t lightweight, goes on the skin feeling thick, and drying down to a matte finish, which can be unfavourable to people with oily skin, (like I myself).
Well, if you’re someone like me that loves lightweight-textured skincare products, then you can never go wrong with this very sunscreen.
According to the manufacturer, this sunscreen offers a double layer UV-blocking system that holds up to water and sweat and feels completely lightweight on the skin and absorbs quickly without leaving any greasy residue behind.

The texture of this sunscreen is so lightweight that it’s almost unfelt when applied on the skin, yet, feels so hydrating on the skin, (thanks to its hyaluronic acid content) and it leaves no white cast or greasy feeling behind after absorption.
I’ve used this sunscreen for two weeks and I can beat my hand on my chest and say “I really love it” and wholeheartedly recommend it to any oily skinned-individual (like myself) who wants to protect their skin from the dangerous UV rays of the sun, but without feeling greasy. - Contains Methylparaben: This is a chemical that’s often used as preservatives to elongate skincare product’s shelf life. Although there hasn’t been any concrete evidence about it causing havoc to the skin, but it could potentially cause minor irritation to anyone allergic to parabens. More reasons why you should patch test first prior to commencing a full product application.
- Contains Alcohol (Polyvinyl Alcohol): The inclusion of alcohol in chemical sunscreens is to lighten the product’s texture, thus making it feel lightweight on the skin and also absorbs faster. Aside from these advantages, alcohol also has its downside – it can cause dry-feeling, itchiness and skin discomfort. Although judging from the ingredients list, alcohol comes second to the last on the list, meaning the product contains a small amount of alcohol.
