Pros

  • It’s budget friendly.
  • Contains 50+ SPF.
  • Doesn’t contain fragrance.
  • Doesn’t contain pore-clogging ingredients.

Cons

  • Contains Methylparaben: This is a chemical that’s often used as preservatives to elongate skincare product’s shelf life. Although there hasn’t been any concrete evidence about it causing havoc to the skin, but it could potentially cause minor irritation to anyone allergic to parabens. More reasons why you should patch test first prior to commencing a full product application.
  • Contains Alcohol (Polyvinyl Alcohol): The inclusion of alcohol in chemical sunscreens is to lighten the product’s texture, thus making it feel lightweight on the skin and also absorbs faster. Aside from these advantages, alcohol also has its downside – it can cause dry-feeling, itchiness and skin discomfort. Although judging from the ingredients list, alcohol comes second to the last on the list, meaning the product contains a small amount of alcohol.

In Conclusion.

If you’re a fan of Korean skincare, and would love to give a Korean brand-produced sunscreen a try, the aforementioned products are the best on the market and worth every penny. Endeavour to perform a patch test prior to commencing full product application.

Remember, no skincare routine is complete without a sunscreen, as sunscreen is the skin-defense that shields it from the harmful UV rays of the sun – The sun is the devil, you wouldn’t want to ruin your skincare effort, right? Then, do the right thing by applying sunscreen everyday before you step outside.
